Day of the Detective.

As a young man prepares for college and attempts to befriend his roommates, he struggles to break free from an everlasting figure from his childhood known solely as “The Detective”. Directed by Colin Cody.

Colin reached out to me for this project, and asked for a theme in the style of Game of Thrones, Dr. Who, and Dr. Strange. A strange combo, but I feel like I captured elements from all of those amazing scores in these tracks. Mostly huge orchestral sounds with moments of synths to give it a futuristic sound. This score was written in 2022.

Hollowed

Inspired by the game “Hollow Knight” from Team Cherry, this piece is about an adventurer traveling through a mysterious and seemingly mystical land. Music written in 2022.

Synthesis

A boy comes face to face with the unknown. A mysterious black monolith lies in the middle of a field. No one knows where it came from or why it is there, all they know is that to make contact with it, would be the first steps towards a new discovery. One boy becomes a promising subject in that journey, but his fear of the monolith becomes known when he is forced to make a decision to embrace it or run from it. Directed by Emily Gould.

This is the only experimental film I have done to date, and it opened my eyes and ears to this brand new genre for me. This film consists more of a soundscape than a score, featuring dark creepy swells and pulses that match the film’s sound design beautifully. This was all written in 2021.

Disunity

A dystopian sci-fi action film that explores a resistance to a new galactic dictatorship. Directed by Bri Power.

One of the first small films I’ve done in my college career. This short film is quick in pace and has an exciting action sequence. It’s dystopian and rugged, and I wanted the music to match that. Suspense music leading into action is probably my favourite sequence to write. This music was written in 2020.

Ghoul Fools

In this sci-fi comedy TV series, two college kids run a ghost busting service as a scam. Andrew accidentally discovers the paranormal world is real! Directed by Bri Power.

This is the first TV show I have written for. This show featured on ICTV, Ithaca College’s personal TV network, and is heavily inspired to me by Goosebumps. Music written in 2019.
